Today’s Puzzle

Why are there some people that put “Emailing:” at the start of the subject line of emails that they send out?

I can’t figure out why it’s useful.

Does anyone know how this got started?

  1. IIRC (and it’s a while since I used Outlook), when you start an e-mail by right-clicking on a file, going to the “Send To” menu, and clicking “Mail Recipient”, it fills in the subject line as “Emailing: “.

This may be where it comes from

Yep, that’s it. Been bugging me for a while too, so I asked one of the perps.

Why do so many blog entries start with a redundant “so”?
