Why are there some people that put “Emailing:” at the start of the subject line of emails that they send out?
I can’t figure out why it’s useful.
Does anyone know how this got started?

IIRC (and it’s a while since I used Outlook), when you start an e-mail by right-clicking on a file, going to the “Send To” menu, and clicking “Mail Recipient”, it fills in the subject line as “Emailing:“.
