Microsoft forced to pull ad touting security
Microsoft was recently forced by government to stop running an ad claiming Microsoft software stops hackers and viruses. An independant journalist lodged a complaint with the South African advertising regulators, who ultimately found Microsoft’s claims untrue and misleading.
