In addition to the anti-GPL trolling mentioned by Graeme Pietersz, the captcha module seems to force users to enter a new captcha for each preview. While it doesn’t actually require a captcha to preview, the submit does not make this clear.

In any case, how about just a simple “If you fill this in, I won’t publish your spam comment:”, which other weblogs have used to great success.

I am also not too happy with WordPress anti-spam and one or two other things, so I had a look the Serendipity site.

I was not impressed by the anti GPL FUD on the “Features” page. Its says “BSD-licensed, WordPress is only GPL. That means, you can use Serendipity to power your commercial sites without any issues.”

OK, this is probably not, in itself, a good reason not to use Serendipity, but I find it a little off putting.
