I tried to be as honest as possible when comparing intelliflix with netflix, so I listed the pro’s & con’s of each service. With netflix I have the rent three at a time with a monthly deduction from my bank account. With intelliflix I have the three at a time movies, xxx, & games paid by the year at a discounted rate. I read the consumer reports review that rated intelliflix higher than netflix, I already had netflix and I was not satisfied when the new releases were put on waiting lists. I cancelled the netflix account and then I bought the intelliflix plan. At the beginning I was happy with intelliflix, I was getting all the movies I requested. A month later there service was absolutely unacceptable and after numerous e-mail complaints I re-ordered netflix and tried to cancel intelliflix. I e-mailed intelliflix stating I would like to cancel the membership and they wrote back that they would not refund any portion of the payment, but they would cancel the service at the end of the agreement in 10 months. I figured I would make the best of it and use the two services. I will now list the pro’s and con’s of each service. Intelliflix: Pro’s: quick response from customer service e-mails, innovative feature that lets you click that you sent back the movie and they start shipping the next title in your querie; (limited to 1 time per 3 movies), they have game rentals for consoles and xxx movie’s, and if you pay by the year they give you a discount. Con’s: Slow turnaround, slow shipping (5-10 days), slow returns, unplayable or broken cd’s, dirty cd’s (I clean them and then they will play), lost cd’s when I return them, pre-written responses to customer service requests, new releases seldom available, I have to contact customer service every time I want movies sent from my querie, new releases are seldom available. Netflix Pro’s: Fast turnaround, fast shipping, fast returns, bigger selection of movies, better search engine when looking for movies, better website design, can put future releases in your querie and it will list the release date and then send you the movie when it is released, innovative feature that allows you to watch a movie instantly over the computer and it does not matter if you have 3 movies out and there is a friends list that allows you to add friends on netflix and share your reviews of movies you watched.
Con’s: New releases sometimes have a waiting list, computer generated responses from customer service, online viewing has few new release titles and limited selection; but they are constantly increasing the library. I would rate Intelliflix 1 star and Netflix 7 stars, but in comparing the services: Intelliflix would get 1 star and Netflix I would rate at 10 stars. I have not had any movies from my querie sent from intellitflix in a month, because I have not written customer service complaining, which is the only time they send movies. I have 30 titles in my querie and 10 state they are available, none are being sent or out at this time. It takes 3 days total from Netflix: the day I send it, the day they receive it, the day I get it. If you are going to try intelliflix, take it from me, pay by the month so you can cancel the service, because it is absolutely unacceptable.

I'm stuck in Intelliflix hell right now... too late I found them on the Better Business Bureau, with an "F" rating!

http://www.bbbsoutheastflorida.org/BBBWeb/Forms/Business/CompanyReportPage_Expository.aspx?CompanyID=0023003768

The F means "We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices."

Be warned! I received about 60 movies over 9 months, which is not horrible... however, more than a couple were "repeats" because they sent me damaged discs (some literally broken in half). There were also delays in shipping and at one point it was nearly 3 weeks before they shipped out my next title (and they had received my last movie over a week before). In the same 3 weeks I had 12 movies out via Blockbuster on a 2 movie plan (I am on a pre-paid 3 movie plan with Intelliflix). So... 9 months in with Intelliflix and I am in no way going to renew. Good price, but you get what you pay for!

Do not do business with these crooks, they got me the first time with the trial period, rent 2 movies in july 2006 and 2 more dec-2006 (they sent me one title duplicated and charged me twice), now they say they have not yet received 2 of them (1 from jul and 1 from dec06), and they want to charge me $1.50 per movie, per day, that would be $ 525.00 and counting!!!

Question, Eileen - Why couldn't Intelliflix get it right when I (and, presumably, most of the folks here) were still members? It seems that our experience as well as other posters are saying here is rather typical: I've looked at the various consumer-rating sites and the story is pretty much the same - long return times, lots of broken discs due to those shoddy mailers, etc.

And, as far as Intelliflix' "rare" or high-demand titles, a large percentage of those 60,000 titles apparently aren't carried at all. As you know, the Intelliflix system will tell you if a title is in high-demand (it will be grayed out) and prevent you from queuing it. But many titles do not do that - they are not in demand, nor are the queuable. They are not available at all, but they are still in the database. One title that I received broken was still listed afterwards even though no more copies were in stock. I suspect a large percentage of the 60,000 are titles you either never had, or had but your last copy broke and it was not removed from the database. At any rate, that 60,000 is extremely misleading.

While I don't blame you for doing damage-control, Intelliflix needs a long way to go in order to win back my business.

DIRECT CONTACT AND CUSTOMER SUPPORT FROM INTELLIFLIX

I believe in Intelliflix and the quality of service that we provide. I have gone out directly to this site stating that we at Intelliflix are serious about addressing our customers concerns. Our goal is to provide the Intelliflix Customer with a great service at a great price … To give our customers the ‘Ultimate Online DVD Rental Experience’.

I invited and continue to encourage any Intelliflix Customer to contact me directly at eileen@inc.intellilfix.com so that I could assist in resolving any issue(s). Those customers that did contact me directly received immediate attention and resolution of their inquiries.

We are proud to be taking our customer service to the next level by reaching out to customers wherever they are. We are the only company to my knowledge that has made this type of effort and as a result people love our commitment.

Our goal is to deliver your DVD's to your mailbox in 1 to 3 business days (depending on origin and availability).

We have created a system that informs you about our inventory status; so that you can get the most out of your membership with Intelliflix. We have some very unique/rare titles you will not find anywhere else (movies, games & mature); over 60,000 title. We don't hide the fact that some titles are Rare and or in High Demand. We tell you when a DVD is Rare or in High Demand by displaying this message before the DVD is entered into your Queue. "This title is Rare or in High Demand and it is not likely that you will get it in the next 1-30 days. We will ship it out as it becomes available, on a first-come, first-served basis." The DVD is then entered into your Queue. It will be displayed in the Queue Waiting Area at the bottom of the page and will be automatically placed in your regular Queue for shipment as soon as it becomes available.

Our COMING BACK FEATURE let's you tell us that you have mailed back a DVD so we can send you the next movie in your Queue even before we have received it. It is available 4 days after your title was shipped to you, which provides enough time for delivery and for you to watch it at home. Only one title at a time can be listed as "Coming Back". This feature is available to members after 1 month and applies to all general release titles, not to games or mature content.

Intelliflix is a great choice for home entertainment needs. We're good people, we want your business, and we'll work hard to keep it. Customer Satisfaction is our #1 PRIORITY.

Please contact me at eileen@inc.intelliflix.com with your specific account information (name and E-mail address). This will enable me to review your account and contact you directly.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,
Eileen

Folks, in case you haven't noticed, the Intelliflix customer service reps have been trolling websites complaining about Intelliflix, saying that 'all you need to do is contact customer support'.

My wife and I were customers and we did that. Intelliflix cancelled our account because of too many customer-support requests.

What were the tickets for? About half the titles we got were broken or scratched and gouged. we let it go for awhile but our queue started getting really backlogged. It's one thing with Blockbuster or other rental places because they ship replacements immediately, but Intelliflix ships out-of-state so replacements take 2-3 days sometimes more. So we requested that Intelliflix send out the titles we were owed, that we would have gotten had they not sent out broken disks-after all, Intelliflix' lack of quality control isn't our fault. They ignored us at first. Then I called their corporate office and my wife emailed their CEO. They told us they would give us a 4-at-a-time plan for two weeks to make it up to us. We agreed. Then we find out yesterday they cancelled our account because of too many customer service requests.

I'm thinking of putting up a page complete with emails illustrating our troubles. But the the bottom line is, this company sucks and don't be fooled by Intelliflix CSR reps suddenly expressing interest in helping you.

Intelliflix is very slow in shipping and will rarely ship games. After I complained they started sending broken discs. I've gone three weeks without a working DVD or game. They have sent 7 defective titles in a row.

STAY AWAY FROM INTELLIFLIX
Spent 2 months emailing and finally received a refund. It took calling the phone number list under "Media" on their web page to get it. Terrible service, slow delivery and movies at the bottom of my list.

I am currently having some serious problems with intelliflix. I have also found their DVD service and customer service to be the worst ever. I requested a full refund over a month ago and have yet to recieve it. If anyone has a telephone number please pass it along. I keep emailing their customer support and get the same answer every time ... we're working on it.

I used this number and was able to talk to someone. 561-697-8325
Ask to speak to Deana (I think she may be a mangager), however they will probably tell you she is in a "meeting" so also ask to speak to Wendi. Wendi was the only person I could get to help me. Also beware I received a partial refund for my superpass, but it took almost a month. Everytime I would email a request to close my account, they would send me a random email saying they regretted my bad experience and they wanted me to give them another chance. Simply ignore there BS and tell them to give you a refund.Sadly enough the ruder I was in my email the quicker I got something accomplished. You can't be nice to this company all they will do is scam you. Hope this helps.

Whenever I mark a disk as " on it's way back" it is delayed. If I send two movies back and mark one (that's all they alow) as returned it is the last one to come out of queue. I've had one "on it's way" for two weeks now. That's a great feature. You guys need to quit your jobs at Intelliflix and stop spreading lies. Perhaps you live next door to a distribution center. I live in Denver and the service sucks here. I send each DVD back in it's own sleeve and wait EIGHT DAYS. Lovely....

I have been a member of Intelliflix for 3 months. I signed up for a year. During the 3 months I have received a average of one movie every 7 to 10 working days. I was supposed to have 3 at a time out, I have never had two at the same time. Most of the media is in poor almost unplayable condition also I have had several broken disc from them. I would not recommend this company to anyone. When I complain, they say I had too many new releases in my queue, so I put mostly old movies in it, nothing changed. I agree, we should do a class action against them.

I am in on the class-action suit if one is put together. I have been having similar problems with intelliflix as most everyone here. I have three movies that the never received and possibly a 4th one. When the third one went missing I got concerned and want to contact someone on what I might need to do to avoid this problem. That is when they replied and told me that I would be responsible for the movies at $25.00 piece. I was not a happy camper. I know that it is probably my fault and that I should have read the terms, but it just burns me that they put the responsibility on the customer for movies that about a third of the time that don’t work. Yes, I have had problems with the movies not working and I have had movies at the top of my queue that has been there since I was a member. Customer service is of no concern to the!!!!!!!! They just want the money.

I've rented with Netflix and Blockbuster and both allow you to ship your return video TO THE CLOSEST center. I live in Atlanta and when I returned my videos, my account with both Blockbuster and Netflix was credited the next day.

Intelliflix sends videos from Kentucky, Massachusetts, and Florida WITH A RETURN ADDRESS to the same $#$@%^& place! It takes a week to get a movie and a week for the to recieve the movie. I have no cable and watch very little TV. I primarily watch movies ( approx. 6-8 per week). I had no problems getting 6 movies per week until I went with Intelliflix. I've had the service 92 days and recived a GRAND total of 13 Movies!!!!

I return 100% of my movies next day!! I made the HUGE mistake of fall for the cheaop year SUPERPASS and now I feel like a SUPER PASS (minus the P). Their customer service reply SUCKS after 1/2 dozen letters!!! SPREAD THE WORD, stay with Blockbuster and Netflix!!!!!

I have been using Intelliflix for 2 months now. First off, let me tell you that I don't have cable tv. I do love movies and tv when it is free. I am cheap! I decided to try them due to the facts that their main headquarters is in my state of Florida, I don't have cable, and they are cheap at a hundred bucks for 3 movies at a time for a year. Also, I am a former Blockbuster "instore" unlimited movie user. I paid $25 per month to get unlimited movies there for over a half of year. This is ideal in my opinion because you can go back and back and back. You won't be stuck on a Saturday evening without a movie. However, with that said, I exhausted all of their movie resources for the old releases. It was time to move on to get other titles that Blockbuster could not offer.
Don't join Intelliflix if you want NEW releases. Forget about it! You'll be waiting until Rapture comes. I figured out the main reason why. They have a program where you can rent releases for $4.00. I believe they are holding the new releases for those customers. Because if they don't have it in stock, then they don't get the sale. They already have your hundred bucks.
Do they claim movies that you sent back are lost? Hell yes. I have already had three like this. I wrote the customer support and told them about my problem and not to give me that crap that the US post office loses mail. I receive all my bills every month, don't you? I told them that it was statistically impossible for this to happen unless it was their fault. I have great credit so the problem can only be one source, Intelliflix. However, Intelliflix wrote back and told me that they were not accusing me of anything and they freed up my Queue. I was happy with that response (until a get a $25 charge on my credit card 5 months from now I am assuming).
It is sort of ghetto that they use postage stamps instead of automated marks. It gives you the impression that they are unorganized. Also you get the impression that their customer support crew has an education of only the 7th grade. It is sort of cute. I get 70 percent of my movies from Florida, which was my hope when joining. However, I do get movies from Texas, New England, etc. I have about 12 Girls Gone Wild titles in my queue (yes I am a pervert) behind the new releases (that I never get). I couldn't believe it when I noticed that one was on the way a couple weeks back. I told my brother and everything. We were so excited. Unfortunately, when I received it it was broken in two. However, I did receive another title from them the same day unscratched. I sent it back with a note on it. Hmmm!!! Are you all thinking what I am thinking? I think they knew they were sending a crack disc from their inventory but only did it to burn off time and to have something to send. It was even the wrong GGW title. I'd almost bet my membership that I'll receive the same damn broken disc again from another GGW choice on my queue later. G-H-E-T-T-O!
On the good side, I do receive movies that I have not seen that I have enjoyed. You have to dig deep though people. I'll chose unknown movies to me that people recommend on the net. I'll put dozens of them in, and I'll get number 43 on my queue. It is ok, because I knew what I was getting into and I take it at face value. They also have a ON THE WAY BACK option. You mark a movie as on the way back and they will send you another before receiving the last one. I take advantage of this. I'll even mark it ON THE WAY BACK before I do mail it sometimes. I'll mark the one going cross country as ON THE WAY back for efficency. You can only do one!
You have to chose your battles with these people. So don't expect too much. However, you can get your money's worth if you play it right and match it up with a Netflix or Blockbuster. If you have cable and want a good stream of new movies, don't go to Intelliflix. Go to Netflix!

I got greedy and signed up with Intelliflix for the $8.25 per month fee, only to find out that this is the worst DVD Online Rental place in the world. They don't have the titles that I had in my que at NetFlix; their delivery system is horrible and their accounting for movies out is horrendous; 25% of the discs that I have received are bad and unplayable; and they won't refund the prepaid 1-year subscription.

So let's get the ball rolling! Does anyone know how to start a class action lawsuit?

I don't want to wait until they charge me $75 for three DVDs they lost, and the service they provide is a scam. We all know it. Let's get off our butts and make the company provide or stop its business. I would start the fire but I don't know how!

I am still fighting with Visa to not pay for two videos that were returned last December! I mailed them back, they never received them and have charged me 25.00 each. There is no working phone number for DVD Barn or Intelliflix. I was a customer for five years without any issues and I am furious that I have to pay for lost dvds, and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it.

I signed up with Intelliflix and they SUCK big time. They claim they have over 40,000. NOT SO. I have movies in the queue and they have NO new titles to ship. Customer service is non-existent. I did call the 561-687-8771 headquaters phone number to complain. I have contacted my Credit card company to launch a complaint and get my money back. The only way these guys can stay in business is by keepig people's money-not returning the dues and not shipping the movies. I am disgusted with them. Any one who has had the same lousy experience with intelliflix and wants to start a class-action suit, count me in.

Poor service and Poor Company. We tried the free month membership only to get to watch two movies in a month. One was cracked and had to be sent back. We canceled before the 30 days. This is when it was DVD Barn. A year later we get a 25.00 charge from Intelliflix. I inquired who this company was and why they charged my VISA card. They said for the missing movie. Of course you don't get to talk to a person it is all done over the crappy WWW site they have. I said I mailed all movies back and over a year ago. They said sorry. So I said I will be writing complaint letters to BBB in WPB, FL Sate Attorneys Generals Office, and also USPS office Of Inspector General, WPB Consumer Affairs is next. I have put in dispute with VISA on the 25.00 charge. Do not pay these crooks, they are scamming many people out of 25.00 So start writing letters and file complaints like I have done and eventually they will feel the heat.
By the way here is here is there telephone # located in WPB 561-697-8771
Netflix is a great rental company as I used them before.

Ben,
I would love to have their number. We have had nothing but problems ever when we signed up with them. Some months we have only gotten 6 movies. So far for the month of July we have received 2.

I signed up almost four months ago and me and my boyfriend love it. We get a ton of movies (which I like) and he gets games (which he likes). We did get their premium package, but it was still less then $15 a month. We tried it for a month for $25 before we did their annual plan. I wish we wouldn't have done that, though because the service was great and we spent $10 more than we needed to. Oh, well.

Anyway, maybe Intelliflix had problems before (and reading some of those comments from last year and the beginning of this year it sure sounds like they did). But they must have fixed their problems because we love them!

I understand them not wanting to do phone support. They must have tens of thousands (or whatever) customers. Netflix doesn't give you a phone number, either.

I've used this company for three months and no complaints (yet). If they just bought this DVD Barn company you guys mentioned, then it makes sense that there were some hiccups. I'm glad I joined afterwards, though!

They're SuperPass annual thing is a great deal. I see they just raised the price a little, but at $9.42 for a 3-out plan, it blows Netflix away.

If things keep going like it is now, there's no way I'll go back to Netflix.

Not much help they will try to get you to resolve with their web site. Which I completely refused to accept, he supposedly emailed them and told them to email me in 24 hrs but (561) 697-8771 is the number I got them at.

I've been w/ Intelliflix since Jan. and I've been pretty happy. Customer service responds within a day or two, and I've had 2 shipping problems resolved quickly (1 broken dvd, 1 mispackaged dvd). So far no bogus charges. Dvd's come very qick and w/ the coming back feature they are equal to netflix in speed. They seem to be adding more and more local video stores as distribution centers. It will be interesting to see how this works, so far so good except I don't always get even the top 2 or 3 on my list. I don't know, I'm nervous from their history but so far it seems like they are having a good turn around and you can't beat the price ($8.25 a month for 3 out w/ a 1-year subscription).

Kim knows her stuff, this guy says hes in arizona but he doesnt even know that intelliflix doesnt have an arizona location so it makes no difference. he is probably one of the dopes who put 3 dvds in one envelope and send them to the wrong center so he has to wait weeks for it to be fixed.

intelliflix is awesome, better then netflix will ever be. coming back and pass are the best features/pricing

Both those numbers are disconnected. I've been sending them tickets and they aren't hearing me. We need to do something about this company. They are taking innocent peoples' money and walking away with it. It is criminal. If anyone knows how to get a hold of them please tell me. They've charged me $75 for movies I never received or that they never "received" from me. Their service was absolutely horrible. I plan to fight this until the end. They may charge me $75 but I will get my money's worth out of them. Anyone in CA fighting them? Let's do a class action.

I am trying to log a complaint with the BBB but it is not recoginizing the name and I do not know their zip code or city... I sign up for them at 12.05 a month .. then when I logged on for the first time .. it made me go thru the whole sign up process again and they charged me for a whole year... now claiming refunds for unused portions of a membership will not be given... which is crap ... I did not intend to pay for a whole year in advance.. why whould I for something I do not even know if I am going to be happy with ??? If anyone has contact info for me ... I would really appreciate it !!!

then the old BArn.

By the way, what's with DBoy? It looks like he entered the same comment into a word document, and then pasted the identical response on every blog & db he could find. Hey DBoy, Netflix needs you to go back to stuffing envelopes now!

I have been with Intelliflix since the Barn days. I may be one of the only ones qualified to comment on the good and the bad. The Barn...BAD. Slow shipping, and limited movies. Intelliflix...Good, so far.

The real change-over came in December, and I have had good service. They seem to focus my rentals on speed instead of top rentals though, since they skip spots in my queue quite a bit. I do get quite a few movies though. My two cents...but happy none the less.

Intelliflix is the worst On-line Company Period!!!

Thank you Tami for your info and Their phone number's. In less than a month, I have all, and I mean all, of the problems mentioned thus far. I am currently fighting them hard. Intelliflix has NO Customer Service Skills and they treat you like a piece of shit(sorry about my French).

I have been with Netflix for two years, here in Boston, and I love them. Netflix give me one day turn around, almost always. For 2 or 3 dollars more, Netflix all the way!!!

Tami, thank you and have A Great New Year!! Good karma to Tami!!!!

This is the worst DVD Rental ever. I live in Arizona and my movies still came late (it took at least 3 Days). I could have walked to their location, picked up my movies, watched the movies and sent them back in less time. The Unfortunate truth is that I am not kidding about this. Also when I cancelled my account they sent me a bill for $25.00 for a DVD they lost. I reported it lost but they still charged me for it. Read the fine print everyone. YOU are responsible for a lost DVD, not Intelliflix and must pay for the DVD. They review every lost DVD with skepticism. What's up with that? It is obvious that Intelliflix does not trust the Customers they deal with. I have rented from at least 12 Online DVD Rentals and have never run into a policy as ridiculous as this. Every other DVD Rental has it in their policy that lost DVDs happen and the Customer will not be billed for the DVD. Believe it or not if you rent enough "mailed" in movies they get lost. I have lost 3 DVDs out of 300 (to 400) DVDs that I have rented. The Intelliflix policy is below:
Lost / Delayed Medias
It is the members responsibility to report medias as delayed. All items reported as lost are dealt with sceptisism. A problem media will not be removed from a users account until it has been reported by the user. This includes final rentals that are being returned during the 14-day grace period after a membership cancellation.
Membership Cancellation
Members may cancel at any time. Membership cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Refunds for unused portions of a membership will NOT be given. Upon cancellation, a member will have 14 days beyond his end of membership to return any DVDs that may still be outstanding. If the member does not return the DVDs within the 14 day period, then the account WILL be charged for the replacement cost of the outstanding medias. Replacement charge is $25.00 per media.

DO NOT RENT FROM INTELLIFLIX.

I AGREE with what everyone said so far about DVD BARN...I myself have had MANY PROBLEMS with their service...dvd's that I've sent back to them havn't hardy ever been posted as recieved...I still have 2-3 dvds on my list posted as "lost" or "delayed" which have been there for about a MONTH...heh...I don't know what happens when I send them back a dvd it just "disappears" I guess... I have returned ALL of the dvds I have recieved from them promptly mostly the next day...and for some reason...they don't recieve them.... to top it all off they even questioned me aka said they were "investigating" me of sending them a dvd from WALMART.COM as a replacement dvd.... You know after awhile of experiencing their service...it has became LAUPHABLY rediculous.... Among this, Ive had the same problems as others....DELAYED movie deliverys, poor communication etc...the PRICE is GOOD though...( 12.95/ 3 dvds at a time )... but the DELAYS seem to make up fot that...
they just need to get thier act together and/or thier transition to intelliflix problems or dilimmas resolved...SENDING the FIRST available movies from your QUEUE would be NICE...
ANYWAYS if your someone who is looking for a nice online dvd rental membership or is NEW to it...ID suggest WALMART DVD rentals ( they have a FREE 30 day/ 2 out at a time trial membership with good cutomer service and selection) ALSO BLOCKBUSTER.COM is good ( they have a -3 dvds at a time plan for about $14/ month they had recently lowered their price ...they also have a 2 week trial good selection, customer service...) I had a complaint once relativelly recently with BLOCKBUSTER about some movie delays and I had suggested some kind of compensation like a membership extention , and they had given me another whole FREE MONTH! :))

Ever since DVD Barn became Intelliflix I have had awesome service. Don't know if its just me, but ive gotten about 15 movies in december, I could barely watch them all. Overall turnaround time was ok, and if I had a problem I contacted customer support and they quickly fixed the issue or delayed my movie. Not sure what all this bashing is about, they seem to handle any problems I have and they are cheaper then all the other big names. I used Netflix and it was HORRIBLE, and they only carry the new titles. Intelliflix has older titles and games and mature movies, im sticking with this. I have a feeling they will get better and better as time goes on. Just my opinion though.

DVDBarn.com now takes you to Intelliflix.com, with the Intelliflix name overshadowing a small DVD Barn line.

I've had mixed results thus far. DVDs sent but not arriving. Returned DVDs not being put back into queue. Part of it was my fault, as you're not supposed to return two DVDs in the same envelope (as you can with Netflix, Wal-Mart, Blockbuster, and the others). Since they use and ship from multiple distribution centers, the system doesn't work like it does for Netflix.

You have to match the DVD with the envelope number, which matches it with the DC. From the looks of things, it appears that Intelliflix is utilizing local video stores or something. A check of return addresses show different video store names. Perhaps this is the saving grace for some of the smaller mom-and-pop video stores.

Intelliflix just needs to find ways to:

-- Improve shipping times
-- Make sure their DCs have enough inventory
-- Make sure that most users have their DVDs shipped from that nearby DC

In theory, the idea is that you should get your TOP title, but you might have to wait a few extra days for it to come from a farther DC. Of course, they should allow you to say: Local DC only or something.

We'll see.

I spoke directly with DVD Barn customer support and found out that they are not going out of business, they are transferring everything over to Intelliflix. Apparently over the past few months they have been adding a LOT of distribution centers. The logistics of what Intelliflix is preparing to do across the country is bigger than I thought, and they are just now beginning to grow.

I signed up with DVD Barn 6 days ago, they charged my card and then went out of business AWESOME!!!! Gameznflix.com took them 14 days to send me 1 game. Then entire time I was with them I got 1 Game. Cancelled them and went to dvd barn only to be ripped off. Now I don't knwo where to go to rent DVD's and Games

Dvd Barn is a total rip off. When I went to the BBB to file a complaint they had the company's address and phone number listed. The phone number is 480-948-7888. Do not let them tell you this is just a temporary problem due to Intelliflix buying them. Intelliflix bought them back in June. How long does it take to get your companies organized. I called this number and spoke with a Patricia. I demanded my money back, which I got. I told them they can't hold me to my user agreement where it says they don't give refunds, since they did not provide any of the services they claim they do. I felt they broke their part of the deal first. Do not waste your time e-mailing customer service. Intelliflix, the company that purchased them used to have a number and handle the customer service, but they have dumped it back in DVD Barn's lap. If you call this number 888-290-3549, you will get Intelliflix and get nothing but excuses. I just reminded them that they advertise DVD Barn as an intelliflix company. I also pointed at that they are getting bad reviews online and I wonder how many people had bad experiences with them that aren't aware of these review sites. I know I wasn't until I became frustrated with them and did a search for their company. I'm sure when a class action suit gets started and the commercials start to show up on tv looking for other customers who feel ripped off by their company we will know. Clearly something I said worked and got my money back for me.

DVD BARN DISASTEROUS-Does anyone have a phone number for DVD Barn so I don't have to waste any more of my time with their idiotic "tickets?" I had 20 titles in queue and they shipped nothing between 11-13 and 11-30, even though I had only 1 movie out. (which, BTW, arrived broken.) My two day service has been 5-7 days. Simply dreadful.

Please DO NOT JOIN DVDBARN.Whatever they advertise " ONE DAY OR FREE " on their website IS NOT TRUE . According to their site, it'll take approximately 2 days for me to receive the movie. They shipped out my movie on Nov. 4 and until now I still did not receive the movie from them and so I create a ticket( NO CONTACT DIRECTLY or anything, just sending the TICKET then wait till they reply to you ....then if you wanna reply back to them...you have to create another ticket ..which is totally a PAIN IN DA A--...) but anyways, I create a ticket ask them what's going in on and all I get from them was.." IT POSSIBLE THAT THE MOVIE GOT LOST" and that's it. The status still shown as Ship on NOV.4. They do not remove it or SEND IN THE NEXT MOVIE ON THE LIST. DVDBARN do not have an option where you can REPORT problem with your DVD shipping or whatever. YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE PROCESS OF CREATING A NEW TICKET THEN WAIT FOR THEIR REPLY. I HAVE A NIGHTMARE JUST TO DEALING WITH THEIR SERVICE. CAN'T WAIT TILL THIS MONTH IS OVER SO I CAN CANCEL THEIR SERVICE.......

can tell you that I signed up with gameznflix.com a month okay on thier 6 out plan and it is awesome! I had 16 different games and dvds out in my first month. Had also heard alot of negative things from previous coustmers who refreed me but they said that in the last month the companies service had made drastic turn around. Think you should at least go for the free two week trial you got nothing to lose.

John,
I have subscibed to the service. So far, no problems. If I return them on Monday, I get more on friday or saturday.
It's a new company, so I'm sure they must have experienced some problems initially, and may need some time to work
out the kinks. This is by far the best deal out there, it seems. Thanks for replying.
